Academically, Lydia is one of the finest students I’ve ever had. Her ap classes push her gpa above 5.0. I’d actually like to have her IQ tested. And socially, she displays outstanding leadership qualities.
If You Say So is the last song on the record. What it’s about is sort of personal to me. I think that there will be a time when I’m happy to, you know, be talking in detail about it, but you know for now I think why I wrote it with her is because when you lose someone, you know one of the scariest part of the process is being so afraid your going to forget.
I grew up in England in the countryside in basically farmland and forests. I was read fairy tales before bedtime and I was totally the young girl who loved fairy tale princesses.
Interviewer: You know that you’re a role model to many young women. What do you say to them? Young girls, teenagers, they all love you very much.
"I know that all the kids in glee club, they fight and they steal each others’ boyfriends and girlfriends and they threaten to quit every other week. But weird stuff like that happens in families. Family is a place where everyone loves you no matter what and they accept you for who you are. I love them. I love everyone in glee club."
Despite the depravity I see in Dauntless, though, I could not leave it. It isn’t only because the thought of living factionless, in complete isolation, sounds like a fate worse than death. It is because, in the brief moments that I have loved it here, I saw a faction worth saving. Maybe we can become brave and honorable again.
